Christmas Light Installation Questions, answered.
Pricing, lights, installation, maintenance, takedown — straight answers, no marketing speak.
01. Pricing & Quotes
Every property is different — pricing depends on roofline length, number of trees, display complexity, and add-ons like wreaths and garland. There is no flat price because a small one-story home and a multi-story house with multiple trees aren't comparable. For the fastest estimate, text us a photo; you can also send your address and display details through the quote form. Most quotes come back within 24 hours and there's no obligation.
Submit your name, phone number, email, and property address through the quote form. Add any display ideas you already have, then text property photos to (817) 894-7529 for a faster, more accurate estimate.
The online form does not currently accept photo uploads. Submit your contact information and address through the form, then text photos to (817) 894-7529 so we can see the roofline, trees, entrances, and layout.
We work with homeowners and businesses of all sizes in the Granbury area. Reach out with your project details and we can let you know if it's a good fit.
Deposit and scheduling terms, when applicable, are explained in your quote before you approve the project.
02. Lights & Service
Lutgen Lights provides professional Christmas light installation for homes and commercial properties. Professional-grade lights, custom installation, in-season maintenance, takedown after Christmas, and off-season storage are included.
No — professional-grade lights are included with the service. You're not buying retail strands at the hardware store. We provide commercial-quality C9s and LEDs that are custom-fit to your property.
The lights are leased as part of the annual service rather than sold as a retail purchase. Lutgen Lights installs them, maintains them through the season, takes them down, and stores them for next year, so you do not have to own or store boxes of lights.
Yes. During the design process we discuss your color preferences and style goals. Warm white is the most popular choice, but we offer other options depending on the display.
We use professional-grade C9 bulbs and LED strands selected and custom-fit for the property and display design.
03. Installation
Request a quote as early as practical before the holiday season. Installation availability changes as the season approaches, and larger residential or commercial displays require more planning.
Yes. Residential displays can include rooflines, trees, wreaths, garland, and pathway accents. The lights are custom-fit to the home and the seasonal service includes installation, maintenance, takedown, and storage.
Installation time depends on the property, access, and display scope. We explain the expected installation plan when the project is quoted and scheduled.
It depends on property access and the approved display plan. We confirm access requirements with you before the installation date.
04. Maintenance
We handle mid-season maintenance at no extra charge. If something needs attention, call or text us and we will schedule a visit to fix it.
We aim to respond and schedule maintenance visits as quickly as possible during the season. We treat this as a core part of the service, not an afterthought.
05. Takedown & Storage
Takedown is typically scheduled in January after the holiday season. We coordinate a specific date with you.
Lutgen Lights removes and stores the custom-fit display after the season, so you do not need to keep boxes of lights at the property.
Takedown and storage are included as part of the annual service. There is no separate fee for these.
06. Commercial Projects
Yes. We install commercial Christmas lighting for storefronts, restaurants, churches, HOAs, office buildings, retail centers, venues, neighborhood entrances, and larger commercial properties. Each project is custom quoted.
Yes. We design and install Christmas lighting for HOA entrances, gatehouses, monuments, trees, common areas, and neighborhood features. Every HOA project is custom quoted based on the property, access, display scope, and schedule.
